Gabe’s funeral service will be held in The Chapel, Stan Crapp Funeral Home, Cnr Manning & Farmer Streets, Kiama on Thursday March 22, 2007 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers donations are invited to Kiama Lions Club. A collection box will be provided.

Gab was an Inspector at Wollongong many, many years ago and, in his later part of life, was suffering from Parkinsons Disease.
I spoke with Gab about 8 months ago, on the phone, and he was extremely hard to understand because of the disease.

Over the weeks leading up to Ron’s death, he sent out a message for all of his mates and friends to go and visit him at his home, with Audrey, at Albion Park.
Over the following weeks, many people turned up and had you not known that he was terminally ill with the Leukaemia, you just wouldn’t have thought he was sick. He was constantly talking and laughing with his friends, but sadly, the energy burned out a little too much and he became very week and eventually succumbed to the Leukaemia and left us in very quick time.
Ron was a truly lovely bloke and boss and was a pleasure to work with or for.
May the old boy be up there and forever Rest In Peace.

8. On 27th March, 1967, Senior-Constable Ronald John Foster and Constable Robert Edgar Layton rescued three youths from a cliff face at Macquarie Pass and recovered the body of a fourth who had suffered fatal injuries in a fall from the cliff.

Upon joining the NSWPF, Tom was described as:
5′ 9.5″ tall, 12 st 3 lb in weight, blue eyes, fair hair with Medium complexion and a Native of Goulburn, NSW.
He was single upon joining but married on the 21 May 1955.
He was previously employed as a Labourer for 2.5 months and a Fitter and Turner for 7 years.

August 1984: Former Liverpool Police Officer – Sergeant 1/c. Thomas. G. Moore, attached to the Communications Branch at VKG Warilla was promoted to the rank of Inspector 3/c. It is believed that around 1988, he took optional retirement.
May 2010: Former Liverpool Police Officer – Inspector Thomas. G. Moore passed away aged 79. Prior to retiring from the Communications Branch at Warilla, he and his wife moved down the south coast to the Gerringong area. Later Tom worked part-time for some years as the after hours mobile medical service driver. He would drive the “after hours Doctor” to visit needy patients around the south coast. His favourite location to rock fish was at ‘Black Point’ off Gerroa. He would often be seen swept into the ocean by huge waves while collecting green weed bait for black fish.

Graham Reiher passed away on 20.12.08. He had a huge funeral with a “Guard of Honour” made up of the guys and girls of the S.E.S. in their orange overalls and looked quite impressive.
Graham was a Policeman pre 1980 in the Illawarra and worked at the Wollongong HWP.
He later became a Ranger with the Wollongong Council and, in 2008, developed a tumour in the brain – which was diagnosed in South Australia whilst he was on holiday down there, forcing him home and back to N.S.W.

Force unites to honour Graham Wright
Paying their respects: Senior Constable Graham Wright is remembered with respect and fond memories at a full police funeral yesterday.
AS A police officer, his compassion for and dedication to road accident victims and their families was universally admired.
Those men and women touched by former Senior Constable Graham John Wright in life, lined up to honour him in death yesterday.
Graham, who passed away at age 43, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many.
Until two years ago, he also was one of the NSW Police Force’s finest, following in his father Geoff’s footsteps.
More than 250 mourners attended his full police funeral at the Innes Gardens Memorial Park and Crematorium.
All of Graham’s former commanders, a retired assistant police commissioner and members of the NSW Fire Brigades and NSW Ambulance Service, farewelled their friend and colleague.
Graham spent his early years growing up in the NSW central-western town of Parkes, before his dad’s promotion prompted a move to Sydney, which is where he finished his schooling.
He had wanted to enlist in the Royal Australian Air Force but changed his mind and joined the police instead.
After a posting in Lake Cargelligo, in far-western NSW, Graham moved back to the central west, this time to the town of Forbes.
It was there he fell in love with Teresa and her daughter Naomi.
The couple was married in 1994.
Seven years later, Graham moved his family to Port Macquarie.
Senior Constable Jason Bentley, Graham’s partner until he left the force, admired the officer and the man.
“My world professionally and emotionally made a huge turn for the better when Graham Wright of Bathurst accident squad arrived in Port Macquarie to start work with me,” Sen Cnst Bentley said.
“Within an hour or so, I learnt of Graham’s other trait that we loved: his dark and measured sense of humour.
“Suddenly, and fortunately, I had a bloke who cared about me, cared about our work and would keep us laughing.”
Colleagues and friends identified this sense of humour and compassion as indicative qualities of Graham.
“Graham was continually praised by those he worked for: coroners, prosecutors, families and their victims,” he said.
“Those professionals were also regarded by Graham as mates.”
His work with victims and their families will be most remembered.
“Graham’s greatest talent was the humility and dignity he offered to the victims and their families,” Sen Const Bentley said.
For a long time, Graham fought depression. Those close to him knew the terrible battles he had with demons within.
Detective Inspector Paul Fehon, a friend of Graham’s and his most recent boss in Port Macquarie, said everything he did was for his family.
“He adored his granddaughter, Annalise, and wanted everything just right for us and her,’’ Det Insp Fehon said.
“His love, tenderness, strength of character and support can never be replaced .
“So many people feel his loss already. We will miss him terribly.”
Graham leaves behind his wife Teresa, daughter Naomi, granddaughter Annalise, parents Geoff and Dianne Wright, and his sister Tracey.
His family urged others living with depression, or who have family members who suffer from depression to phone the following agencies: beyondblue on 1300 22 46 36, Suicide Intervention Network and Lifeline on 13 11 14.
With regret I advise the death of Bradley Charles KAUL, 54 old, former Regd. No. 23856, a non-member of the RPA of Stewarts Point, NSW.
Brad, being a non smoker and non drinker, was admitted to hospital on Australia Day, 26 January 2014 due to suspected pneumonia.
In early to mid February 2014 it was then discovered to be Non Smokers Lung Cancer but, unfortunately, he died on 17 February 2014.
His funeral was held at 9am on Friday 21st Instant at the Chapel, Innes Gardens Memorial Park, Phillip Charley Drive, PORT MACQUARIE.
May he forever Rest In Peace.

Sergeant Kerry WEEKES was a Traffic Sergeant at Fairfield Police Station when, in 1987, he shot himself with his service revolver whilst inside the Traffic Office of that building.
Fairfield Police Station, at that time, comprised to two buildings on either side of the driveway which passed between the two buildings.
The Traffic Office was on the second floor on the western side of the driveway and was at the rear of that building overlooking the rear car park.
This original version of the Fairfield Police Station was demolished and later replaced with the current station we see upon Smart St, Fairfield, today.
