Carolyn Therese TRACEY

Condolences to Harrison & Connor, together with family, friends and staff from Campbelltown Police Station.

Carolyn was exposed to, and participated in, police investigations into paedophiles, while she was the mother of young children.

This really affected her.

Part of her duties were to visit goals to listen in to phone calls made by inmates.

Prior to Carolyn’s death we tried so desperately to help her.
She was so fearful of being sectioned and admitted to the mental health unit.
More so than most people would be because she was involved in arrests where the offender was in such a unit and terrified of being placed in a unit alongside some of the people she was involved with in her work.
She should never have been exposed to some of the images of crime victims when she was not a serving police officer even though she worked very successfully alongside them.

John SOLVYNS. 15 August 2017: Classic Pursuit Vehicle FB Group· John SOLVYNS sent this interesting submission through: That's me at the door. This particular VC Commodore did the rounds of a few places in NSW for trial purposes in, I think, 1983 or 84. It was supplied by GMH with a Garrett turbocharger fitted. I believe it was done in order to try and crack the HWP pursuit car market which was dominated by Ford. Apart from that I don't know too much of the technical info but there are people out there who could help. It worked very well as an unmarked car as there was an element of surprise. It didn't end well, the turbo blew and the car was last seen leaving Tamworth on the back of a truck never to be heard of or seen again. You will notice from this picture, the car had a black front spoiler and bonnet vents.

I first met John when he joined and was stationed at Eastwood GD’s. I had the opportunity to take him out in a GTR Torana for the shift as I was on Eastwood STP. John told me that is when he got the urge to join the HWP.

Mr Denis Harold STRICKLAND

For outstanding public service, particularly to the NSW Police Force at an organisational and policy level for over thirty years.

Sean Paul Ro Started with the Police Dept in 1958 and was still going strong at the SPC when I went there in 2003.
A true and dedicated Public Servant and I hope he wouldn’t mind me using that title?
I looked up to him, greatly admired his knowledge and experience and he treated everyone, whether in uniform or not like the true gentleman he was.
I lost contact with him when he retired and I kinda regret that now.
R.I.P. Mr Strickland and condolences to your family and dear friends.

LABONE, Anne Christine

LABONE Anne Christine of Oak Flats

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 26, 2020. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Ken & Christine, Phil & Heather, Don, Graham & Jennifer.

Aged 63 Years
She Loved And Cared For All Animals

Relatives and friends of Anne are invited to attend her Memorial Service to be held at the Northcliffe Chapel of Hansen & Cole, 634 Northcliffe Drive, Kembla Grange on Saturday March 27, 2021 commencing at 11am.

Ann Labone passed away on 26 March after being in hospital for a few weeks.

The cause of her death was ‘possibly’ from some blood disorder which may or may not have been contracted when she was in Peru last November, 2019.

Annie, You were a bloody good sport with all the lads at Warilla over the years and a great Admin Officer.

You worked in various rolls at the old Warilla Police Station from HWP and Detectives.

You were a great worker at Port Kembla in Court Processing.

I have video of you participating in a Cricket match between Warilla GD’s and HWP when we played in 1987 – but, unfortunately, the quality isn’t worth displaying.

Annie, may you forever Rest In Peace.
