With regret I advise the death of John (Jack) Victor WARING, 88 old, former Regd. No. 5266, a non-member of the RPA of Kyeemagh, NSW.
Jack passed away on 30/11/2013 and his funeral is proposed to be held at 10.30am on Friday 6th Instant at the South Chapel, Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, 49 Military Road, MATRAVILLE.
David Bruce MELDRUM, 86 old, former Regd. No. 5544, a non-member of the RPA.
David passed away on 21/11/2013 and his funeral has been held.
Charles William NICHOLLS, 73 old, former Regd. No. 14087, a non-member of the RPA.
Charles passed away on 21/11/2013 and his funeral has been held.
Galli RIPKA – age 76 – Regd. No.7610 – Member of the Gold Coast Branch of the R.P.A. – Sadly, Galli passed away last Tuesday the 26/11/13 following a long debilitating illness.
A ‘Family Only’ service and cremation has already been held.
His ashes will be conveyed to Sydney in December for a private family internment.

This would have been a Police Footy BBQ.
Pat was born and bred in Wauchope, NSW, and joined the New South Wales Police Force via the Police Cadet system, aged 16, and commenced at the Redfern Police Academy on the 3 February 1975 and was assigned Cadet # 3097.
After the Police Academy, Pat was stationed at various locations including Sutherland. He was later transferred to Wollongong General Duties and also performed duties at Unanderra as part of the District Foot Patrol.
Pat was a funny bastard and always up for a practical joke. He was also a great footballer, playing in the NSW Police Football competition and playing for Wollongong District.
He served his final years back at Wollongong in the Prisoner Security Unit ( PSU ) until his resignation in 1990.
Two funeral Services were held for Pat. One in his old home town of Waucope, NSW, where he was laid to rest and the second was held on the Gold Coast where Pat resided.
Pat was born on the 29 August 1957.
