David Neville To my beloved twin brother, whose first post was Mt Isa, from where he spent extended times at Doomagee, an Aboriginal mission which is the toughest beat in Qld. As a trainee constable he had to deal with high threat situations with little backup on a daily basis which is something the most experienced veterans would struggle with. He paid a significant emotional toll. Throughout his near 20 years of service, like all police he dealt with traumatic and dangerous situations. Unfortunately the dark forces of PTSD had a debilitating impact on him and he was medically retired. He gave the best years of his life to the QPS and the community of Queensland.
I loved you with all my heart and I am proud to have served with you.

Wayne Noffke I worked with Mick for a number of years in Toowoomba. He was a highly intelligent & knowledgeable officer, but due to previous experiences in the job & a difficult home life he had some demons. Despite all of this we shared lots of laughs & good times. He was a good man & will be missed.
