Josh came to Liverpool a year after me. Young , baby faced and fit as an ox. First shift I worked with him I asked where he wanted to go in the job, his reply without hesitation was “ the TOU” which he achieved and without knowing much about that , as it is secretive, he performed his duty with distinction. I did see him a number of times whilst at MEOC. As a constable, he was almost too straight and well behaved for his age, no mischief, pranks, nothing to bring him under notice, almost a driven nerdy type. But as a person, driven to achieve, a nice bloke, without hesitation would back you up, and a gentleman well before his years. He even aged backwards, at the reunion, he still looked like a kid, even with his vast experiences as a cop. It is sad that he has passed so young, but his life, the way he has been in his life , and the people he has interacted with, are lucky to have known him. RIP Josh You will always be remembered.
